Currently unavailable.

I believe that high-quality care should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. To support this, I offer sliding scale options to accommodate varying financial needs. Clients who are able to pay full rates help support those who are in greater need, creating a balanced and supportive community.

I also recognize that each person’s journey is unique, and one approach does not fit all. With this in mind, I strive to tailor services to your individual needs, whether through flexible session lengths, nature walks, or customized payment options.

I aim to establish an agreement that balances both of our needs for a sustainable and equitable quality of life.

policies.

anti-oppressive practice.

I am an advocate of the movement to decolonize therapy, which informs my holistic, justice-oriented perspective to treatment. I take into consideration the biological, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual aspects of a person and the environments and experiences they are exposed to throughout their lifetime. I examine how the systems and structures that we currently exist within impact us both individually and collectively, and how to navigate these systems when we are unable to change them. At Rooted Healing + Integration, all bodies are welcome and valued.

payment.

Accepted forms of payment, which is due at the time of our meeting, include: debit or credit cards, checks, Health Savings Account (HSA), and Flex Savings Account (FSA) cards. Cards will be added to my secure client portal and I will charge the provided card at end of each session.

insurance.

Currently, I do not bill insurance, as I believe it can be limiting to providing client-centered, trauma-informed, and inclusive care. However, I can provide a 'superbill' if your insurance covers out-of-network providers. Please note that this requires me to provide a formal diagnosis, which we will collaborate on together. You are always entitled to receive statements and invoices. I recommend checking with your insurance company to fully understand their reimbursement policies and procedures.

good faith estimate.

Under the law, all health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

cancellations.

All appointments must be canceled at least 48 hours in advance. If you cancel your appointment within 48 hours of your appointment time, the following applies:

Your first late cancellation will be excused in an understanding that "life happens," and you will not be charged.

Any subsequent late cancellations will result in your being charged the full fee for your missed session.
